Rainbow Recruitment Services are recruiting for a Site Support Technician on behalf of their client, a long-established German metalworking fluid manufacturer, supplying high specification lubricants and services into the Global engineering industry.

You will be joining a technical team within a prestigious engineering company in Small Dole (BN5).

 

Responsibilities include:

• Carry-out accurate on-site checks of products in use, and make adjustments as required to maintain performance

• Take samples for lab analysis and then report and discuss results with site team

• Operate and maintain fluid handling equipment

• Clean down and refill CNC machine fluid tanks when coolants are at the end of their operational life

• Produce and deliver reports

• Work hard to develop a continuous improvement programme with colleagues within a regional support team

 

Requirements:

• Highly motivated to work independently, and as part of a team

• High degree of flexibility to deliver excellent customer support

• Actively enjoy working ‘hands on’

• Good communication skills

• Results driven

• Willing to learn and develop technical knowledge, both within the product range, and their customers industry

• Very effective time management and organisational skills

 

Salary: £25,000 to £27,000 (depending on relevant experience)

This is a permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30.
