Rainbow Recruitment Services are recruiting for a Flow Wrap Machine Operator to join their client, an expanding sweet and savoury bakery in Burgess Hill (West Sussex).

You will be required to work across 3 flow wrapper lines within a packing department, wrapping baked products from cereal bar products, through to muffins/tarts & savoury products.

​

Duties include:

• Set up and run lines according to the schedule, to ensure the timely and efficient manufacture of product, rearranging schedules and resources as necessary

• Check team progress against the schedule and provide Packing Manager with timely updates

• Ensure required resources (packaging materials, ingredients, products, equipment etc) are available and ready for use before commencing tasks

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork and databases in accordance with department processes

• Conduct and record Metal Detector tests as per CCP procedure

 

Full training will be provided, however the ideal candidate will have Flow Wrap machine experience, use of metal detection equipment within the food industry, and a good standard of numeracy and literacy.

 

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 10:00-18:30 & Fridays 09:00-17:30.

Starting rate: £20,995 increasing to £22,542 after a probationary/training period.
