
Financial Analyst
Rainbow Recruitment Services are recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join their client, a pioneer in the UK telecommunications and office technology industry for almost 30 years.
Based out of their Worthing Town Centre offices, you will be joining a dynamic, customer-focused team that helps companies get the best business communications, cloud and data services.
As a Financial Analyst you will join a team reporting directly to the company director.
Role and responsibilities:

Managing daily financial accounting efficiently to maintain a healthy cashflow

Purchase ledger management and arranging supplier payments

Sales ledger management and providing accurate customer invoices

Credit control of any overdue payments
-
Reconciliation of bank accounts/business credit cards

Processing prepayments and accruals
-
Accounting journals
-
Producing Month End Reporting with commentary and resolutions of any key issues that arise

Collating sales commissions
-
Reporting the payroll monthly to our external Accountants

Managing our customer billing in-house
-
Reconciling supplier costs and services
-
Maintaining a portfolio of products with accurate costs and sell prices

Processing customer card payments and Direct Debit Mandates via BACS services
-
Maintaining good business relationships with suppliers, sub-contractors and customers
-
Liaising with accountants to ensure HMRC and statutory compliance deadlines are met

Completion of the quarterly VAT returns

Knowledge of Xero accounting platform is advantageous, but training can be provided
You will:

Possess AAT Level 3 or equivalent accounting qualifications

Excellent understanding of accounting principles

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)

A great team player who is willing to go above and beyond to contribute to the company objectives
You will ideally have previous experience as a Financial Analyst, although other relevant experience will be considered.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm (with the possibility of extra hours if required to meet deadlines).
The package:

£30,000-£35,000 per annum.
