
Accounts Manager
Rainbow Recruitment Services are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Manager for their client, a a long established local firm of chartered accountants based in Brighton & Hove.
Job Purpose:
To prepare and manage the accounts and tax work for a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, reporting directly to Partners.
Duties Include:

Prepare and manage sole trader and partnership accounts and self-assessment tax returns from prime records on Iris software.

Prepare and manage limited company accounts and corporation tax returns on Iris software from prime records.

Liaise directly with clients to obtain the necessary information to complete company accounts and tax returns in a timely manner to meet filing and payment deadlines.

Carry out practice management activities e.g., WIP control, client billing etc.

Identify ways to develop relationships with clients and deliver added value.

Achieve team and individual budgets.

Maintain the highest technical and professional standard.

Provide additional help and guidance to clients as required.

Coach, train and develop junior staff.
You will:

Be ACA/ACCA with experience managing a portfolio of clients, mainly limited companies and managing a team of 2 trainees and delegating work to them.

Have strong interpersonal skills and previous supervisory experience, plus experience working in Practice.

Have the ability to multitask

Have good knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and tax preparation.

Have Strong knowledge of IRIS is essential.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Working hours: Monday-Friday 9am to 5.15pm
The position is initially office based but after successful probation can offer a hybrid working pattern of 1-2 days per week working from home.

Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
